GasCanBase aka Gastric Cancer Database is a product of the Bioinformatics Division, National Insitute of Biotechnology (NIB), Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. Dr. Md, Salimullah, Director General of NIB supervised the GasCanBase project. Mohammad Uzzal Hossain, Scienctific Officer and In-charge, Bioinformatics Division, generated all the data used to create the GasCanBase. Ishtiaque Ahammad, Scientific Officer, Bioinformatics Division, developed the GasCanBase website.
